Hi. We’re here to share our experiences about working with Sunkiss’d Pools.
It’s been…not great. In fact, as of today, March 11, 2022, things have gotten downright bonkers. Keep reading below to see the latest.
What happens when you have terrible reviews?
Well, you might try to self-reflect, apologize, or do better next time. Or, if you’re like Krista, you can hide the negative reviews so that no one can find them! If you go to the Sunkiss’d Facebook page, you won’t be able to see the reviews tab because it’s been hidden. But they were doozies!
Then there’s Yelp, which had a lot of bad reviews. So Krista changed the name of the business on her Yelp page to Sunburst Pools, as you can see here. Keep scrolling - it gets weirder.
As you can see here, the website link has been changed to Sunburst Pools, an unsuspecting pool company out of Ohio. (Don’t worry, I clicked on this link and reached out to them to let them know what was up!) But then things got even crazier.
Krista changed the name AGAIN on Yelp to L. Coggin Pools. That’s the name of one of the customers she’s having a dispute with. (And if you’re wondering how many unhappy customers she’s having a dispute with, it’s a LOT.) She didn’t bother changing the website or phone number though (the phone number belongs to Charles Knell, aged 96 in Peoria, AZ. Hi Charles!).
But that wasn’t the end of her taking out her frustrations on her customers! All of the pictures on the page are photos that a customer sent to complain about the quality of work that was done - except for one. Want to know what that one was?

Now, if you asked her, Krista would say she’s definitely the victim and that this customer has been mean to her. But the fact is, there were so many unhappy customers of Sunkiss’d Pools that we formed a Facebook group called Victims of Sunkiss’d Pools.
We’ll be continuing to update this website with our stories, and we hope anyone who is thinking of working with Sunkiss’d Pools in Austin, TX will take a look at this website first and listen to our stories before deciding.
